45 Session of the WCO Enforcement CommiĴee

th
The 45 Session of the WCO Enforcement Committee was held from 24 to 28
March 2025, at WCO Headquarters, Brussels.
India made significant contributions, including expert inputs on trade-based
money laundering, environmental crime enforcement gaps, and WCO Dog Train-
ing Centre Standards. The WCO Secretariat proposed forming an Informal Expert
Group for accrediting Regional Dog Training Centres (RDTCs) and sought CBIC’s
nomination. India was also invited to support WCO Environment Program initia-
tives, such as species identification workshops, operational meetings, and tech
integration, through financial (CCF-India) or logistical support. The meeting also
identified other key areas of action, such as personnel secondments, and enhanced
bilateral cooperation.
