9 Regional Customs Enforcement Meeting (RCEM)

In 2024, DRI successfully hosted the 9 edition of the RCEM on 4 December
2024, reaffirming its leadership in fostering regional and international coopera-
tion on customs enforcement. The event convened 22 senior customs officials
from 13 countries, along with representatives from leading international organi-
zations such as the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the
International Narcotics Control Board (INCB).

The meeting served as a key forum for addressing challenges posed by transna-
tional smuggling and economic offences.
