On this occasion, I recall the supreme sacrifices made by DRI officers who laid down their life in their line of duty. DRI's annual report 'Smuggling in India Report, 2020-21' is a lucid compilation of cases that portrays the range and variety of cases the organisation has dealt with. The humongous efforts taken by officers, sometimes at the cost of their life, in cracking cases of national importance is commended. I join all the officers and staff of CBIC in wishing DRI greater success in all their endeavours on the occasion of 64th DRI Foundation Day.
