Seizure of Smuggled Gold from the fuel tank of a Truck
Officers of DRI seized 66 kg Smuggled Gold concealed in the fuel tank of a truck in New Delhi. The gold had been smuggled into India through the Myanmar border and was being transported to Punjab. The gold had to be carefully extracted from the fuel tanks after cutting them open.
Seizure of Smuggled Gold from the Carrier of a Van
Officers of DRI seized 10 kg Smuggled Gold on the lmphal-Moreh road, concealed in the hollow-pipe used to attach the carrier on the van.
Seizure of Smuggled Gold from the dashboard of a Hyundai Creta Car
Officers of DRI seized 25 kg Smuggled Gold concealed in a specially created cavity deep inside the dash board of a Hyundai Creta Car near Hyderabad. The gold had been smuggled into India from Myanmar and was being transported in the car to Hyderabad for sale.
