MESSAGE
On the occasion of 64th DRI Foundation Day on 4th December, 2021, I extend my best wishes and congratulations to the DRI.
DRI has distinguished itself not only in its pivotal role in combating outright smuggling and commercial frauds but also in its unwavering resolve to protect the nation.
Despite the immense challenges posed by pandemic Covid-19 last year, I am happy to note that the officers of DRI have been remarkable in their commitment to their duty. They have also done commendable work by interdicting and investigating cases involving seizure of sensitive dual use goods and thereby contributing immensely to safety and security of the nation.
On this occasion, I encourage the officers of DRI to continuously innovate and acquire new capabilities and technologies in their effort to become more efficient and act as a deterrence against economic offenders of the country.
I once again commend and congratulate the DRI for their excellent work and wish them success in the future years ahead.
