MESSAGE
I am happy to learn about the 64th Foundation Day of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI). Greetings to everyone associated with DRI on the joyous occasion.
During the last six and a half decades, the contribution of DRI towards strengthening the socio-economic edifice of the nation has been commendable. The tireless vigilance of the Directorate’s workforce and timely interventions have foiled the nefarious designs of elements whose activities are inimical to the economic security and well-being of the nation.
The spirit of selfless service and unwavering commitment of the revenue intelligence personnel in the midst of the challenges posed by the pandemic inspires all.
In tune with the fast-paced times, digital interventions will help the Directorate keep itself future oriented. There must be constant emphasis to enhance the use of latest technological tools and adopt best global practices to attain even greater success in investigation of economic offences.
As the nation celebrates Amrit Mahotsav of independence, the 64th Foundation Day celebrations of DRI will encourage its personnel to rededicate themselves towards creating a future-ready intelligence infrastructure. I am sure that the Directorate will take holistic measures to heighten security, be it in augmenting the revenue, safeguarding our borders, or securing the environment.
